The ADCU is supporting a major collective legal action against Uber over Dynamic Pay (“Upfront Pricing”), brought in the Netherlands where Uber processes driver data. UK drivers can join now.
Since upfront fares (2020) and variable commission (2022), driver pay has fallen 16%, commissions have reached 60%, customer prices are up 32%, and Uber’s profits have surged.
The claim demands compensation for lost earnings, emotional distress, unlawful data use, and the illegal U.S. data transfer (2021–2023), plus an injunction to stop Dynamic Upfront Pricing.
Uber was fined €290 million, but drivers received nothing.
